This position will be responsible for:
- Underwriting basics – Mentor will teach what an underwriter does by topic
- Basic business unit financial reporting
- Financial reports for upcoming meetings through UW Desktop and Power BI
- Pipeline management
- Preparation and participation in presentations and stewardship meetings
- Loss summary review and inputs
- Attending a broker meeting with Mentor

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program in the fall semester following the internship
- Must be a rising junior or rising senior at the time of the internship
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum cumulative GPA average of 3.0 (current GPA reported by your school)
- Demonstrates problem solving skills in a customer-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Excel and PowerPoint experience
- Self-motivated, punctual, professional and able to work independently
