As a Senior Marketing Lead within PNC's Marketing organization, you will be based in one of the Marketing Hubs listed on the posting.

Position Description

As the Senior Marketing Lead for New Branch Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy to support PNC’s new branches, including the company’s aggressive $1.5B and 200 branch expansion plan through 2029. The successful candidate will develop a multi-channel strategy to build community awareness, while driving consideration of PNC in newer markets. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders in marketing, distribution, sales and product to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What you’ll do:
• Lead New Branch Marketing strategy to build awareness of PNC in new communities and increase consideration among prospective customers. This may include promotional cash offers, branch merchandising, direct mail, outdoor advertising, digital and radio.
• Manage the test and learn agenda to drive innovation, improve performance, and gain data and insights to optimize the marketing approach.
• Measure past campaign performance/core KPIs and leverage data insights and competitive trends to create an interconnected strategy.
• Lead and oversee New Branch marketing design and execution by collaborating with agency partners, marketing colleagues, sales and distribution.
• Drive a customer focused culture, leveraging broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge and using best-in-class, customer first strategies.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Competencies you’ll bring:
• Demonstrated track record in designing customer-centric marketing.
• A curious and analytical mindset with experience in applying data-driven marketing into highly effective decision making to drive competitive advantage.
• Passion for thinking differently and exploring new ideas to bring to life meaningful personalization in unique and disruptive ways.
• A self-starter with proven skill in leading and working across multiple and distinct functional organizations in support of specific business priorities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to leverage large data sets to make data-driven decisions, with a focus on test-and-learn.
• Understanding of customer behavior research, metrics, and trends, to partner with Research team on customer segment studies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to glean insights from data and develop a compelling story to influence outcomes with senior and executive leadership.
• 8+ years’ consumer marketing experience, including marketing strategy.
• Champion for change and energized by a challenge.
• Advocate for and act as the voice of the customer.

Job Description

  • Leads the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel strategic marketing plans for one or more products/initiatives/channels. Formulates plans that acquire, grow, and retain customers in support of the product life cycle and line of business goals and objectives.
  • Supports the team in development and prioritization of business and marketing objectives, development of value propositions and target segments leveraging competitive intelligence and insights to drive growth strategies.
