This is a key role within a project to implement a new time/attendance technology across US and Canada. The aim of the project is to transform the experience of our Hourly and other Non-Exempt colleagues and their direct managers as they interact on a daily basis with the our processes to plan and manage attendance and absence from work.
Working as part of the Workforce Management (WFM) workstream, the Process Alignment Lead will become an expert on current and new ways of working, including the functionality of a leading Workforce Management/Time & Attendance solution.
Who you are:
- A current ADM colleague employed in Human Resources, Operations, or a role regularly supporting these functions.
- Well networked with ADM’s US/Canada Operations and HR Operations teams - including understanding of roles and responsibilities of different teams.
- A system- and data-oriented colleague with ability to think strategically.
- Experienced in delivering training, preferably to both Hourly and Salaried colleagues.
- Understand & Research the Business: Gather detailed requirements of policy & practices related to: variable pay rates for hourly employees; eligibility and assignment of premium payments; time-off/leave management; attendance management; hourly workforce scheduling; business intelligence reports & data usage, etc.
- Combine your research and knowledge of ADM to advise the program of areas of risk & “pain points” related to our processes & practices.
- Advise on Opportunities to Standardize: Analyze business policy & practices for similarities between Business Units, locations, functions (Engineering, Production, Distribution, etc), and union labor agreements. Identify opportunities to standardize processes.
- Support Future State Process Design: Participate in future state process design sessions. Utilize knowledge of the business & identified opportunities for standardization to support process design choices.
- Future State Roles Design. Support design of roles & responsibilities that align with new WFM processes and ADM Operations organization structures.
- Support Software Testing: Create test scenarios and test data to enable testing of new functionality. Work across plant teams to identify testers (HR & non-HR) and support testing activities.
- Partner with Global Technology Teams: Work alongside GT resources to document the requirements that will be configured in WFM software. Assist with identification of user acceptance testing resources / requirements approvers.
- Partner with Finance/Operations/Data Teams: coordinate with each of these teams to ensure their requirements are supported.
- Partner with Organization Change Management: Work alongside the project’s organizational change management (OCM) Lead and Communications specialists to advise on expected impacts to the business. Identify training populations, support roll-out of training, deliver face-to-face and virtual training where appropriate.
- Ability to act as an advisor & advocate for the business, using knowledge of ADM to help shape program assumptions and strategy.
- A strong desire to drive the success of ADM. A willingness to ‘roll your sleeves up’ and deliver practical outcomes.
- Technical aptitude– confident and capable user of a variety of systems; administrator or power-user experience is a benefit.
- Experience with managing to set deadlines & operating in an accelerated working environment
- Prior project involvement is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and manage different stakeholders.
- Strong data management skills.
- Experience of process design and/or of delivering system training to others would be an advantage.
