IM HOSPITALIST/IM PHYSICIAN FACULTY  (Multiple Pos.)

The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education and its affiliated entity The Wright Center for Community Health has an opportunity in Northeastern PA for a Internal Medicine Hospitalist position.  This position is a responsible for a a patient service and precepting residents in the inpatient setting.  Due to educational requirements this is a Monday through Friday schedule with 12 blocks of service and one weekend per month coverage plus call.  This position will also work 4 hours per week in our federally qualified look alike healthcenter.  

• Instruct medical residents in inpatient medical services/specialized treatment
• Teach as to how to review patient records, test results, progress reports/develop necessary medical treatment 
• Instruct/supervise residents in counseling patients regarding illness, treatment/progress. MD (or foreign equiv. deg.)

Completion of Internal Med. Residency, Board Certification in Internal Medicine, PA medical license 

Travel to various unanticipated patient sites
