Overview
The Sales Account Manager III is responsible for selling IGT’s portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new customers, within an assigned territory.
As a trusted advisor, the Account Manager III has a deep understanding of business, financials, products, services, the market as well as the needs/challenges of assigned accounts. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring consistent satisfaction with IGT’s products and services, and that all revenue generation opportunities are maximized.
Territory includes North/Central Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas.
Responsibilities:
• The AM will be overseeing and managing the company’s key accounts in the Eastern Region.
• Travels to assigned customer locations and meets with customers if and when needed (customer events, face-to-face meetings, etc).
• Intimately understands IGTs portfolio of products, competitors, and market conditions, and can connect the dots between key strategic business projects, business growth opportunities, and product enhancements.
• Forecast and track key accounts and manage the sales funnel.
• Resolves complaints and prevents additional issues by improving processes.
• Enhances department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Meets deadlines and proactively communicates in advance when deadlines can’t be met.
• Properly prioritizes the customer projects based on the urgency and importance communicated by the internal customers.
• Develops and continuously improves sales tactics for each customer, product, or service line for assigned customers to meet or exceed established customer-specific sales goals.
• Collects and analyzes sales customer data, performance, and trends.
• Stays up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, or other updates impacting company products, and internal or external customers.
• Actively communicate with relevant departments, to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to our partners’ needs and objectives.
• Works proactively with cross-functional teams, people & transformation, finance, sales operations, etc.
• Follows up constantly, tracking the progress of all the key strategic projects of the internal customers.
• Manages projects within client relationships, and carries out client goals while meeting company goals.
• Identifies and develops new businesses, and existing business growth opportunities with our partners and/or identifies areas of improvement.
Communications/Interactions:
• Regularly interacts with regional team, customers, regulators, etc.
• Regularly interacts with internal stakeholders, sales operations, peers, cross-functional disciplines, etc..
• Builds and nurtures positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and decision-making employees at all levels
• Prepare internal and external presentations utilizing data and analysis to highlight trends and opportunities.
• Is the main point of contact for entering new markets, adding new content for the internal customers.
• Will be the main point of contact for organizing internal meetings for internal customers project updates.
• Is the first point of business escalation internally and will escalate further to upper Management if needed, keeping the communication flowing between parties.
• Will be the main point of contact and escalations, as needed.
• Commercial negotiations will also be driven by the AM, with the support of management team, as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally gained in account management/commercial roles or gaming operations
