POSITION SUMMARY
Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a dynamic Senior Executive Assistant to support an Executive Vice President in our New York offices. The position will encompass a variety of administrative responsibilities requiring a high-level of trust & confidentiality, excellent organizational & communication skills, and all-related interpersonal skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide executive support to senior level executive
Screen incoming calls and correspondence as needed
Maintain executive calendar, schedule meetings and conference calls, handle meeting conflicts and prioritization issues
Prepare and manage expense reports
May prepare and review materials and correspondence for meetings
Assist with creation/modification of presentations, spreadsheets, and other various documents
Distribute executives’ mail, sort and prioritize; arrange messenger and overnight package services
Arrange & manage all aspects of travel (itineraries, approvals, flights, hotels, rental vehicles, currency exchange thru multiple services) keeping executive’s travel profile up-to-date and accurate
Work with department admins to lead and support department meetings and events, including internal team events, team off-sites, and other team meetings, including meeting rooms arrangements and catering requests
Liaise and build relationships with other groups within the company
Responsible for supporting department heads leadership within the department
Be a consistent point of contact in NY for clients and internal staff while supervisors are traveling
Other ad-hoc assignments as needed
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
Your qualifications and experience should include:
BA/BS degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years administrative experience working with high level executives
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented
Team player with ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure
Proactive in following up on details, anticipating issues, and closing out all loose ends
Mature and strong inter-personal skills; able to interact professionally with peers and senior management
Adept at problem solving and possess a genuine desire to learn
Excellent telephone manner to communicate with all levels of management
Proficient in Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
Able to work flexible hours as needed, based on 9-5 standard day
Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the USA
