Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service? We want you to be part of our retail team as a Senior Retail Generalist!

As a key player in our retail operations, you’ll lead a team of retail generalists in the absence of the Retail & Food Services Supervisor, ensuring sales goals are achieved, tasks are completed efficiently, and schedules are followed. This position is essential to our store’s success, offering the perfect blend of leadership, sales strategy, and hands-on responsibilities. Duties include the following but are not limited:

• Drive Sales: Support the store management team in meeting sales goals through visibility, merchandising expertise, and exceptional customer service.
• Lead by Example: Inspire your team by coaching, providing real-time feedback, and actively participating in the training of new associates.
• Customer Focused: Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external customers, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand’s commitment to quality.
• Operations Support: Assist with store opening/closing procedures, cash control, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and product presentation.
• Problem Solving: Resolve customer complaints and special requests, escalating when necessary to higher management.
• Team Development: Help train new associates, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  This position requires flexibility in scheduling with availability on weekdays between 9:00AM to 5:30PM. Additional availability is required for weekends, holidays and occasional evenings. Minimum Qualifications

Excellent oral communication skills and problem-solving skills. Be self-motivated, work well independently and as part of a team, and maintain a level head and positive attitude while working under pressure. Must be comfortable with crowds and enjoy working with children and individuals of all ages and abilities. Candidate must be able to work weekdays, weekends and state, federal and local holidays, be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, prolonged walking or standing, and frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching on a daily basis.

Additional Considerations

An ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in a leadership role as well as considerable knowledge in specialty retail sales, direct customer service, heavy cash handling, computerized register operation, and be able to perform basic math computations.
