Join us as a Shipper Level 3 – ASN, where your expertise in EDI, routing and shipping will directly support our largest B2B customers and help drive our operational excellence.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented team member with strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in distribution center environment, manages multiple priorities effectively, and is open to taking on new and diverse responsibilities. Experience working with major B2B customers—such as Amazon, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Academy Sports, Walmart, Target, and others—is highly preferred.
This role requires consistent collaboration with peers, management, and logistics partners, as well as coordination with internal teams across multiple warehouse locations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
ASN / EDI Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the ASN/EDI Lead to complete assigned tasks.
- Prioritize and process EDI orders to meet strict shipment deadlines.
- Route all EDI orders and prepare required documentation.
- Update shipping methods in SCALE to ensure accurate ASN transmission and prevent chargebacks.
- Close shipments in SCALE, ensuring tracking and PRO numbers are entered accurately.
- Use Microsoft Office and systems such as SCALE, E1 (JD Edwards), and WMS to maintain accurate communication and records between the SC and California warehouses.
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently and support NON-EDI order volume as needed.
- Assist in training and supporting co‑workers as needed.
SHIPPING OPERATIONS
- Ensure products are properly staged in designated shipping areas.
- Manually move stock and materials; perform general labor tasks as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and workflow.
- Meet productivity expectations and complete tasks within required timeframes.
- Report unsafe conditions or potential hazards promptly.
QUALITY & ACCURACY
- Pick, pack, and ship orders with high accuracy to meet company and customer standards.
- Verify merchandise accuracy before shipment by scanning and processing one order at a time.
- Conduct random spot checks on orders for accuracy.
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Practice proper housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation in compliance with safety requirements.
- Participate in required safety meetings and training sessions.
- Wear appropriate PPE when required by job tasks.
Qualifications
Education & Training
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Completion of manual and electric pallet jack training.
- Completion of Dunlop’s ASN Level 1, 2, and 3 Career Path.
Competencies
- Working knowledge of shipment routing, E1 (JD Edwards) Preferred, SCALE (Manhattan) Preferred (Experience in other ERP/WMS software REQUIRED), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong prioritization and time‑management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to read and write proficiently in the English language.<
