The Global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. As we continue to add advertising on TikTok, this team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community.



The Team Leader will oversee a team of Data Understanding Specialists (DUS), providing hands-on guidance and support in operational execution and project delivery. This role focuses on day-to-day team management, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in both operations and cross-functional project management, helping to bridge teams, drive progress, and support the professional growth of their direct reports.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Supervision & Support:

- Oversee the daily work of Data Understanding Specialists, ensuring adherence to processes, timelines, and quality standards.

- Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to team members, fostering their growth and technical development.

- Act as a point of escalation for challenges encountered by the team, offering solutions and guidance.

2. Operational Efficiency:

- Assist in executing operational strategies to optimize workflow and team efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvements, tool enhancements, and system upgrades.

- Ensure proper tracking of project KPIs and metrics, regularly reviewing performance to maintain alignment with business goals.

3. Project Support & Coordination:

- Facilitate the delivery of cross-functional projects, ensuring that Data Understanding Specialists contribute effectively to project goals.

- Help maintain the project roadmap, assisting in prioritizing tasks and managing dependencies.

- Coordinate with senior leadership to communicate team progress, blockers, and any needed resources.

4. Process Improvement:

- Actively participate in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve data-driven decision-making.

- Support the implementation of project management tools and processes to enhance the efficiency of both the team and larger initiatives.

- Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement within the team.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

- Serve as the primary liaison between Data Understanding Specialists and other operational and technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration.

- Communicate key updates, progress, and issues to both team members and leadership, maintaining transparency.
