The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an IT Mobility Analyst – Mobile Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leads IT mobility project in Manufacturing
- Implements new solutions
- Determines new alternatives and future mobile technological concepts
- Supports the service organization
- In this role, you will work closely with the Manufacturing community to determine, test, certify, and deploy new mobile technologies and solutions based on their requirements. We strive to ensure that these new technologies meet the business's needs and help it grow. At the same time, we continue to maintain the existing solutions and ensure they function at their best.
- You will also be an integral part of the team, closely liaising with the business and consulting the teams to improve mobile solutions in the manufacturing environment continuously. By working together, you will identify areas for enhancement and implement changes to better meet the users' needs and make them feel included.
- As an IT organization, we are committed to constantly improving our service for users. Through permanent data analytics and cross-functional collaboration, we want to enhance the quality of documentation and the skills of service desk agents.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher (completed and verified before start) in Information Technology or Computer Science discipline from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of IT mobile infrastructure experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- One (1) year of experience in IT mobile manufacturing environment
- Two (2) years of experience in Microsoft Intune
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Mobile operating systems expert level
- Scrum
- ITSM
- Specific knowledge about manufacturing sites and technical requirements (e.g. hazardous areas)
Work location: Hybrid
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood at least 1 day per week)
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
