Job Details:
Purpose
The Student Organizations Events Team is responsible for representing the Office of the Dean of Students at various functions and events. In addition, the Events Team supports registered and sponsored student organizations by sharing resources and providing information about policies and institutional rules.
Responsibilities
• Assist with event support during student organization fairs, UT Marketplace, Evening of the Stars and other special events.
• Table on campus to promote programs and services for the Office of the Dean of Students to the campus community.
• Support registered and sponsored student organizations tabling on campus and ensure they are in compliance with university policies.
• Manage Microsoft bookings and conduct event consultations.
• Utilize effective communication skills and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Must be a University of Texas at Austin student, enrolled for at least 6 credit hours.
• Must have a Work-Study award.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and professionally, and collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Salary Range
$11.10 per hour
(Work Study Only)
Working Conditions
