Aircraft Line Technician III

Position Summary
This role is responsible for maintenance, completing repairing, preventative maintenance, Phase inspections, time limited items on Metrea’s part 135 aircraft fleet. Applicant shall be willing to work extended hours, multiple shifts, be on call for emergency maintenance and travel as needed. This role is also responsible troubleshooting and assisting lower-level technicians.

Essential Functions Statement:
- Repair, modify, and update aircraft systems.
- Assist lower level technicians in the maintenance of aircraft.
- Clean equipment and facilities; rig aircraft flight control surfaces.
- Operate aircraft systems; engine “run-up” and “trim engines”.
- Complete work in hanger and remote locations.
- Troubleshoot without assistance.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting that routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines; but, it may also operate from office to shop-floor locations, ramp & outdoors with potential adverse weather conditions and high noise levels.
Physical Demands
This is a largely physical role.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with department and business needs. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from department manager.
Facility Location - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma South - 7301 NW 50th
Travel
Travel requirements are: 25%
Required Education and Experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 4 years of aircraft maintenance, 3 years on King Air aircraft
Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel; Maintenance Technical Publications
Required Certificates and Licenses
Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Employee must be a US citizen and not hold dual citizenship with another country.
