About the role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, M&A Integration to oversee and lead the integration of acquired companies into our existing business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the integration process is smooth, efficient, and aligned with the strategic goals of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration Planning and Execution:  Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans that align with the strategic objectives of the merger or acquisition. This includes creating timelines, setting milestones, and ensuring all integration activities are completed on schedule.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work closely with functional leaders across departments (e.g., commercial, finance, HR, IT, operations) to ensure seamless integration of processes, systems, and cultures. Facilitate communication and coordination among all relevant stakeholders. Lead the regular cadence of integration calls/ meetings with the cross functional teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the integration process and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor the progress of the integration to ensure issues are addressed proactively.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions for all employees involved in the integration. Provide guidance and support to teams to help them adapt to new systems, processes, and organizational structures.
  • Performance Tracking:  Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the integration. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Cultural Integration:  Ensure that the cultural integration is handled with sensitivity, fostering a positive environment where employees from both organizations feel valued and engaged.
  • Continuous Improvement:  Continuously improve Wesco-wide M&A integration capabilities and skillsets. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree - Accounting, Finance, or business related required
  • 3 years required of financial analysis experience; including discounted cash flow
  • 1 year required of data query extraction and analytics experience
  • 1 year required of profit and loss and balance sheet forecasting and management experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex analytical data into easily understandable format
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – High proficiency in Excel
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Managing and organizing large amounts of data
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
  • Report writing utilizing Hyperion and Oracle
  • Short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis is preferred
  • Proven experience in managing strategic initiatives integrations, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
