How you'll contribute
A Certified Medical Assistant who excels in this role:
- Provides basic patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Monitors and records vital signs, intake and output, and reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and ambulation.
- Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings.
- Maintains patient rooms and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
- Supports nursing and physician staff with patient care activities and unit workflow.
- Manages tech desk operations and assists with maintaining efficient department throughput.
- Documents patient care and activities in accordance with hospital and unit standards.
- Participates in required education, competency validation, and performance improvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What to expect.
Clinic Volume:
- 7–14 patients daily
Staffing Model:
- Up to 8 patients: 1 Nurse + 1 CMA
- Over 8 patients: 2 Nurses + 2 CMAs
Unit Type: Post-Acute Clinic
Rooms:
- 14 rooms (Winchester, double occupancy available)
Care Model:
- Collaborative team approach (RNs, LPNs, CMAs)
What we're looking for
- Education
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Certifications
National Medical Assistant Certification
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
