This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm EST
Total Weekly Hours: 20 Hours

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software and Product Designer to join their team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces for an AI-powered health assistant and related tools. The ideal candidate is passionate about enhancing patient experiences and building trust through thoughtful, user-centered design.

Key Responsibilities

Develop accessible and patient-friendly interfaces for an AI-driven health assistant.
Translate complex product concepts and AI workflows into clear UX flows and responsive UI components.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of design systems.
Prioritize simplicity, clarity, and trust in healthcare-related user interactions.
Design solutions for both patient-facing applications and internal support tools.
Maintain brand consistency, evolve the design system, and ensure usability across platforms.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/UI or product design.
Experience in healthcare, patient support, or AI interface design (highly desirable).
Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) and responsive web design best practices.
Strong understanding of accessible design standards, including WCAG guidelines.
Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders.
Self-motivated, with the ability to independently manage design cycles and deliverables.
