Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Project Management Analyst to be part of the Program Management Office. This role is to support the upcoming Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) Task Order (TO).  The project management analyst oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.  The LOGIX TO will support the JADC2 goal to deliver a relevant information advantage with ISR operations and logistics support. To support continued progress and sustainment of the JADC2 Strategy, the LOGIX TO support the accelerated application of technological solutions by analyzing new and emerging technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, technologies, capabilities, platforms, equipment, and associated subordinate and supporting systems used to execute their missions. 

  

In this role, you will help analyze and standardize business operations practices, driving efficiencies in execution in the various functional support group areas.  Duties may include research and analysis, formulating and implementing process improvements, and coordinating with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. 

 

This role will allow for a remote working schedule. 

What You Will Do

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. 
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. 
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.  
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. 
  • Assist in developing contract required products to include technical directions plans, rough order of magnitude pricing and management of the risk register.  

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience supporting complex technical projects and or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD)  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software. 
  • Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong understanding of tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with a functionally diverse team. 
  • Strong working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices and compliance requirements​.
  • Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
