1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

 

Our Quality Systems lead is a hybrid position that splits their time between two areas in Quality; Training and Internal Auditing.  You will be responsible for executing effective employee training assessments and for conducting internal audits on processes for compliance with requirements. This is a 100% on site hourly position.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Evaluate processes for compliance with quality requirements
  • Assist in development of audit plans, audit schedules
  • Conduct quality audits
  • Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct hands on training of employees on operational standards and procedures
  • Conduct associate training assessments 
  • Conduct associate competency assessments
  • Recording operational proficiencies aligned with skill assessments
  • Documenting non-conformance, observations and recommendations for improvement
  • Preparing and presenting quality audit and training status reports to management

What you need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • High degree of computer literacy with Google tools (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to mentor and coach employees 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational details
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team of trainers & auditors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read standard operating procedures and conduct hands on training of employees as needed

It’d be great if you also had:

  • Associate of Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities
