Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director, Enterprise Capability (Skills Strategy & Transformation) is the strategic and programmatic leader that drives the short and long term roadmap towards skills-oriented talent and development practices, as well as designs and implements the change management initiatives that will transform the business to this approach. This role will define the Skills strategy, build the roadmap, own key projects that set the foundations for all talent practices, and oversee the strategic connection of all critical skills projects across People & Culture and Capabilities initiatives. Additionally, this role will own the complete definition, design and implementation of a holistic change management, communication and engagement strategy for the identified Skills Strategy scope. The journey to a skills-oriented future will happen over many years, with continuous evolution of the destination as technology and industry best practices evolve, so this role and its remit will also continuously evolve. While the scope is primarily in design phase in 2024, the evolution may include ownership or partnership on skills-oriented practices that are either all new or evolving from current state.

Skills, the learned ability to perform an action through training and practice, are a critical component of Capability development at Coca-Cola. When aligned with knowledge and mindset, skills help power our Capability promise to our people, to invest in our associates to make them more successful and employable, and to our business, to deliver a competitive advantage for the company’s future through our people.

As the leader of our organizational Skills Strategy & Transformation, this role combines strategic thought leadership, internal client consulting and highly skilled program management into one role responsible for leading network partners in collaborative design, development and delivery of a comprehensive Skills plan and change management strategy and implementation. Sitting on the Enterprise Capability team within the Talent & Development COE in the People & Culture function, this role provides an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a highly-networked environment where success is achieved through and with others.

In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to grow and develop as a networked leader and as a talent development professional, by combining industry research and perspective with internal strategy and ambition. The Skills Strategy & Transformation leader should have strategy/consulting, talent development, and capability experience. A successful candidate will thrive in bringing structure to ambiguity, have a bias towards action and possess the ability to create impact at scale.

Everyone is a leader at Coca-Cola. This role is an individual contributor without direct reports but has significant responsibility for leading cross-functional project teams, working closely with peers across connected talent practices, and influencing senior leaders across People & Culture and the networked Capability community.
