Job Description

This role supports the Electrical Services team by performing high-quality industrial and commercial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and project support. You’ll be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, supporting installations, and ensuring equipment reliability—all contributing directly to safe operations, minimal downtime, and exceptional customer experience. What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, lighting, wiring, and power distribution equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC and NFPA 70E standards.
  • Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
  • Participate in weekly production status meetings and ensure accurate cost entries and invoicing.
  • Manage project files, electrical drawings, and documentation within the project management system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Assist with estimating, site walks, and pre-construction planning.
  • Support material procurement by specifying and ordering electrical components and tools.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated customer accounts.
  • Mentor apprentices and junior team members, promoting safety and technical growth.
  • Demonstrate leadership and a desire to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

What You Bring

You’re someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring:

  • 3–7 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance and construction.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or associate degree in electrical or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Licensed or certified electrician (per state/local requirements).
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, 3-phase power, control wiring, PLCs, and VFDs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using a CMMS and digital project documentation systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $40 - $50 per hour
