Principal Security Engineering Manager

Edge and Platform Security Fundamentals (EPSF) is responsible for securing some of Microsoft’s largest and most critical online services in Azure Edge + Platform, and Windows + Devices.  

As a Principal Security Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team which designs, implements, and streamlines infrastructure security across hybrid environments. Your work will have an immediate impact on the business by eliminating risk and aligning with company objectives.  

As a member of our team, you will work with leaders, engineers, and Program Managers across multiple organizations, guiding them to take meaningful action to protect their systems and services. This is a highly technical position where you will be assessing the risk of new and existing systems and driving programs which will elevate their security posture.  

If you’re a proven leader and have successfully guided teams and organizations through tough technical and security challenges, this might be the role for you. The ability to think outside the box and leverage a broad set of technology to solve security problems is important to this role. The security landscape is continuously changing, and part of the role is to pivot the team when necessary to maximize our security coverage and impact. Infrastructure security as code is the foundation of our team.
