Inventory Control Data Clerk

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for executing inventory transactions into ERP systems (Sage 100). We get daily reporting on Production, Scrap, Returns, other Adjustments that must be corrected in inventory daily. This position will execute these transactions into the system to keep inventory accounting accurate. 

May also be asked to assist in warehouse audits in the factory as needed, run reports on production requirements, and then issue Work Orders to the various manufacturing facilities as needed. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track and maintain inventory accuracy across warehousing, production, and distribution operation.                                                                                                                             
• Perform daily cycle counts on specified storage locations.
• Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
• Research inventory discrepancies, determine the cause, recommend necessary adjustments and make inventory adjustments.
• Ensure the integrity of the inventory part classification by verifying item number, product category, description and bin location.
• Assist in processing returned goods documentation.
• Communicate issues pertaining to inventory procurement to senior management.
• Assist with receiving, order fulfillment and other warehouse duties and tasks as assigned.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

SKILLS REQUIRED:

High computer literacy.

Able to communicate affectively and constructively to various departments. 

Microsoft Excel preferred but not required.

Experience with Sage 100 is a bonus.

GOOD ATTENDANCE IS ESSENTIAL!
