What is Lasso?
Lasso is an emissions reduction platform to decarbonize supply chains. It is an exciting new space, and with which we can transform a traditional industry.
Why does this matter? Methane emissions in the beef and dairy industry are responsible for nearly 15% of total global warming potential. But even more importantly, methane is a very fast-acting greenhouse gas; it is 80x more potent than CO2 in a 20-year timeframe. If we can stop methane emissions quickly, we are in a much stronger position to stop climate change.
We are a Seed stage startup, with total funding near $5mn, and work with some of the largest food processors and brands in the US.
