Job Summary:

Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to recipe standards with consistency, speed, and quality. They maintain a clean and organized station, assist with prep, and ensure all food meets safety and sanitation guidelines in a high-volume environment.  Starting wage of $20.00+ depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe specifications and presentation standards
• Set up and stock the workstation with necessary supplies before each shift
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the station and kitchen areas
• Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure proper timing and ticket flow
• Assist with prep, storage, and rotation of ingredients and supplies
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, efficient kitchen environment

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant preferred
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot environment
• Attention to detail, consistency, and pride in food quality
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
