Senior Business Controller

We are looking for a Business Controller to join our Group Business control team. The role is broad, and the scope can be somewhat adjusted to ensure that you can showcase all your knowledge. However, a key task will be to drive the controlling of some of our key revenue and/or cost streams and find new efficient ways to ensure the best possible outcome for the Group in terms of results and internal control, as well as participate and drive our financial reporting. The role

The role will be based in Uppsala, but stakeholders can be in either of our locations and will also involve external contacts. The Business Controller will report to Group Business controller based in Uppsala, Sweden, and to give a brief overview you will be responsible for

• Reporting, Analysis and monitoring of KPIs, revenues, costs, risks, working capital and cash flow.
• Participating in the Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly financial reporting to different stakeholders.
• Development of routines, internal control, processes and systems.
• Supporting the Finance department and other Group Departments with risk based assessments on key revenue and/or cost streams.
• Working closely with the different members of our Finance team and with other departments in the Group which is spread over our locations around the globe.
• Other business controlling tasks that might be relevant given your background and expertise.

Requirements

• Business, Finance or Engineering/Numerical academic degree
• Minimum 4-5 years relevant work experience as a Business and/or Financial Controller or a number of years as an auditor.
• Solid analytical skills and experience in analyzing and managing large amounts of data.
• Strong communication skills in order to quickly establish key relationships within the Group and externally.
• Ability to adapt quickly and experience in undertaking projects with different kind of stakeholders in different parts of the Group
• Experience of SQL and/or simpler programming is considered a merit
• Accounting experience is considered a merit
• International experience is considered a merit.
• Very good command of the English language.
