Internship Summary

OPEN Health is committed to offering interns a gratifying and fulfilling experience while learning the “ins and outs” of medical communications. Our internship program runs for 8 weeks, June 12, 2023 – August 4, 2023. During this time, interns will receive firsthand mentoring from highly skilled Account Directors and Account Managers in the areas of:

• Strategic Publication Planning and Medical Communications

  • Compliance, Documentation Management and Operational Expectations
  • Team Collaboration and Rapport Building
  • Client Services
  • Research Support
  • Account Awareness
  • Product Knowledge

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• Actively enrolled junior or senior and in good standing at an accredited college or university (GPA of 3.0 or higher), preferably majoring in business, marketing, communications, pharmaceutical life sciences, or related field
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of MS365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and other project management software
• Ability to work both independently and in a team structure
• Strong time management skills
• Enthusiastic self-motivated team player

Internship Specifics:

• This position can be performed remotely or from our corporate office based in Parsippany, NJ. OPEN Health will provide company-issued equipment (laptop, monitor, etc.)
• If working remotely, intern is responsible for having a dedicated workspace at home with reliable Internet and phone
• Internship hours are 9:00 am – 4:00 pm EST, Monday-Thursday; or as required by business needs
• This is a paid internship with an hourly wage of $18.00
