How You’ll Add Value
The Manufacturing System Technician (MST) performs functions associated with manufacturing operations, including electro-mechanical assembly, set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting related to Azenta cryogenic products.
What You’ll Do
- Follow technical instructions and technical terms to assemble sub-assemblies, including the integration of these sub-assemblies into more complex systems end products
- Uses programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
- Determines or may assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Works occasionally with engineers in conducting experiments.
- May prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Higher levels may provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel and may progress to team leader/supervisory roles within the product line.
What you will Bring
- Minimum of 4 years related work experience is required.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and adapt to priority changes at last minute.
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others.
- High attention to detail and quality is a must.
- Familiarity with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
- Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, capable of maintaining production throughput requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively, both in person and through web-based communication environments.
