About the role

Role Overview

Be part of the global deployment team for internal marketing of sales systems and processes. Create and provide materials on global deployments for business practices, processes, and systems. Help improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's tactical business objectives.

As part of the team, you would work at the junction between different systems and process teams, as well as being the voice of enablement and operations, with the goal of helping others to understand the end-to-end flow of processes and how they can best serve Oracle's sales teams.

Career Level - IC1

The Global Deployment Manager (GDM) is responsible for deploying new applications and new functionality for existing applications, as well as creating content to support enablement but not facilitating directly.

  • Deployment includes, but is not limited to, the creation of enablement materials, Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) announcements & in-system walk-throughs, Revenue Enablement Services learnings & videos, SalesHelp knowledge base articles, as well as emails and slack posts. 
  • Deployments drive best practices in the global sales process, to align sales rep experience with system functionality.  GDMs consider impacted user roles in developing deployments and maintain a cross-functional view of the end-to-end process to ensure a coherent user experience and consistent messaging.
  • Establish and run focus groups with relevant end users to assess efficacy of materials used in deployment.
  • Review and analyze the business impact of deployments through a comprehensive post-mortem process.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and teams such as Communications, Knowledge Management, Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), Revenue Enablement Services, and SalesHelp.
  • Collaborate with global systems and process teams in relevant working team meetings and governance boards. 
  • Collaborate with Revenue Enablement Services teams to ensure the teams understand the impact and scope of projects and provide deployment materials that are fit for purpose for the impacted roles, so the teams have what they need for a successful project.
  • Collaborate with divisional operations teams in each region for deployment. GDMs work with divisional operations to ensure the deployment materials are fit for purpose for impacted roles and the divisional teams have what they need for a successful deployment.



The preferred candidate would have:

  • Strong written and verbal skills in English.
  • A positive “can do” attitude and likes to take on new challenges.
  • A sense of urgency to get things done to business deadlines.
  • Be able to properly manage tasks and their workload.
  • The ability to understand complex processes quickly.
  • Be able to articulate ideas and concerns to higher level management.
  • Experience in marketing and communications.
  • Be able to discuss ideas and present to VP and SVP level.
  • The ability to present to large groups over Zoom.
  • Experience creating presentations and using Microsoft Office.
  • Always be thinking of ways to improve their own work and others processes.
  • Use of Oracle's different sales systems.
  • Knowledge and experience using Oracle's systems and processes.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

Canada: Hiring Range from $33,300 to $72,000 CAD per annum 
US: Hiring Range: from $19.95 to $42.93 per hour; from $41,500 to $89,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity. 

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
