The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Estimating & Pricing Specialist - Product Development Financial Modeling to join our team in Everett, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining parametric cost models and providing rapid, reliable cost estimates across projects and programs. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and experience with statistical and parametric techniques to support early-phase decision-making.

This position will be a part of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Product Development Estimating team, a group focused on the next generation of commercial technologies and airplanes. The team has four sub-teams supporting various aspects of the Commercial Product Development (PD) Organization: Financial Modeling, Production System, Config/Trade Studies and Balanced Design. BCA Product Development is complex and fast-paced environment, and all teams will require creative problem-solving and cross-functional partnership to support business priorities.

The Financial Modeling team is responsible for business case analysis, and financial model development and ad hoc/special projects. The scope of this team’s responsibility is broad, covering market & price, investment, unit cost / production and aftermarket.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large organizations finding business solutions, not just reporting news. They will also be a dynamic communicator, able to express and defend financial analysis simply to executive leaders while working under tight deadlines with competing priorities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and maintain parametric cost models and estimating tools to support concept and preliminary design phases

• Produce timely, defensible high-level cost estimates using parametric, analogous, and statistical methods

• Collaborate with engineering, program management, supply chain, and finance to collect data inputs, verify assumptions, and refine models

• Lead/oversee development of complex estimates and prices from complex technical requirements through design

• Lead/oversee and performs complex analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

• Lead complex ad hoc financial analysis to generate business insights for decision-makers

• Train and mentor team members on creating and using data-driven estimates

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher

• 5+ years of experience in a business-related role

• 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience performing parametric estimates and data analysis

• Experience performing substantiated quick-turn (1-2 weeks) Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and tests of reasonableness

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience working in multifaceted engagements with teams across multiple functions

• Significant experience developing and owning product-level business cases/cashflow models

• Expert in developing and applying risk analysis techniques

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $127,800 - $156,200
