Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
One of the following:
- ADN Plus 3 of the most recent 5 years’ experience working in oncology services
- BSN Plus 2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience working in oncology services
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
BLS
One of the following:
- Current Alabama RN license
- Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*
*Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

Oncology Certified Nurse
Responsibilities
Develops and coordinates services provided to the oncology patient throughout the continuum of care in order to decrease fragmentation. Acts as a liaison between the physicians, the professional health care staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.
