Manager Nursing - ICU

Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s).  Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum.  Minimal supervision required.

• This is an onsite role that will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled
• Work Status Available: Full Time - Exempt (Salaried)
• Shifts Available: Day

 

Required Qualifications:

• Meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Texas Registered Nurse License
• Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon Hire: TNCC, ENPC - TNCC and ENPC Instructor preferred
• 3+ years of professional nursing experience
• 2+ years of clinical experience in specific clinical area - ICU

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing -OR- Master's Degree for Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac Services Education and Research
• Upon Hire: Specialty certification related to practice
• Upon Hire: Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
• Upon Hire: National oncology certification (OCN), Maintains chemotherapy hospital-based certification every 2 years (for JACC Medical Oncology and Physicians' Offices)
• Supervisory/leadership experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
