Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s). Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required.
Please note the following important details regarding this role:
- This is an onsite role that will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled
- Work Status Available: Full Time - Exempt (Salaried)
- Shifts Available: Day
Required Qualifications:
- Meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Texas Registered Nurse License
- Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon Hire: TNCC, ENPC - TNCC and ENPC Instructor preferred
- 3+ years of professional nursing experience
- 2+ years of clinical experience in specific clinical area - ICU
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing -OR- Master's Degree for Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac Services Education and Research
- Upon Hire: Specialty certification related to practice
- Upon Hire: Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
- Upon Hire: National oncology certification (OCN), Maintains chemotherapy hospital-based certification every 2 years (for JACC Medical Oncology and Physicians' Offices)
- Supervisory/leadership experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
