What You’ll Be Doing:

Cloud Platform Architect  

As a member of the Platform Engineering organization, you will be part of a team responsible for managing the large footprint of our application suite and cloud infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

•   Designing and implementing containerization solutions using platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA). 

• Collaborate with the software development team to containerize existing applications and deploy them on Azure. 

• Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads on Azure. 

• Maintain and ensure the security of the Azure container orchestration platform. 

• Partner with DevOps in advancing Infra as Code and Config as Code discipline. 

• Partner with SRE in advancing monitoring/observability for container infrastructure. 

• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in containerization. 

• Thoroughly document processes and configurations related to containerization efforts. 

• Mentor other team members in microservice architecture and containers orchestration. 

Required and Preferred Experience:

• Candidates for this role should have a solid understanding and practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. 

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Azure.
