Job Description

This position can be based in Newport Beach, Ca, San Antonio, TX, or Migdal HaEmek, Israel 

•    Procurement of Materials for the Category of responsibility, including negotiation of prices and terms of supply. 
•    Overall responsibility for global and local suppliers for the Category of responsibility
•    Lead Category meetings with buyers across Tower’s sites
•    Initiate and cooperate on cost improvement projects, with the involvement of cross-functional positions, such as  Engineering and R&D. 
•    Elaborate and maintain Category Strategy over time, including market and suppliers’ analysis, business continuity plans, sourcing strategy
•    Drive selection process of Suppliers and Materials, according to the Category strategy
•    Monitor and measure supplier’s performance and compliance with agreed terms of supply and quality requirements, through structured scorecards and business reviews process
•    Drive vendor relations enhancement activities, as well as escalation and corrective action process.
•    Renew existing agreements, propose, initiate and finalize new agreements to improve operational efficiency, cost, aid business performance. 
•    Apply experience and knowledge to rationalize and benchmark all sourcing spends on a continuous basis.
•    Develop ideas and strategies to improve performance and work towards continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

•    A minimum of 3 years seniority in current position – A must (internal)
•    Academic degree (Business, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering) - Advantage
•    Procurement and Category management significant understanding and experience
•    Technical background and familiarity with Semiconductor Fabrication - Advantage
•    Good verbal and written communication skills (English & Hebrew)
•    Negotiation skills 
•    Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
•    Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
•    Self- manageable and Self-initiatives capabilities
