<h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-0 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 20, 60);">What The Role Is</span></h2> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Reporting to the Wind Site Lead, the Evening Shift Wind Technician is responsible for assisting in the performance of wind turbine mechanical, hydraulic, and electric component maintenance. The primary objective is to maintain safe, effective, efficient, and profitable wind turbine operation.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Wind Technician levels are defined below, and the ranges will be determined based on the qualifications met.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><u>Pay Ranges by Job Level:</u></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Wind Technician I ($45,000 - $66,000)</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Wind Technician II ($52,000 - $74,000)</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Wind Technician III ($63,000 - $90,000)</span></p> <h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-1 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 20, 60); font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">What You'll Be Doing</span></h2> <p>Level I</p> <ul> <li>Follow safety procedures, observe safe working practices and maintain a safe working environment.</li> <li>Assist in the performance of wind turbine mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical component maintenance.</li> <li>Documents all work performed, parts used and time spent using computer based service reporting procedures.</li> <li>Assist in troubleshooting and repair of SCADA communication systems.</li> <li>Operate and maintain a service vehicle.</li> <li>Maintain hand tools in good working order and well organized.</li> <li>Work a flexible on call schedule when needed. This may include weeknights, weekends, and holidays.</li> <li>Willingness to progress as a technician and take guidance from superiors.</li> <li>Help in all areas of site operations as directed by Site Lead and Site Manager with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Work a flexible on call schedule when needed.
