Junior Analyst

Seaport Global Holdings LLC seeks a full-time Junior Analyst to join our Hybrid/Preferred team based in our midtown Manhattan office. This individual will gain direct experience working with the industry’s top producers at a firm that cultivates client relationships by providing comprehensive market knowledge and superior real-time execution. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication abilities, impeccable attention to detail and strong analytical and quantitative skills. This individual will play an instrumental role in supporting the team’s various functions, including supporting the Sr. Desk research analyst.  

Responsibilities:

• Relay client orders to the trading desk in real-time
• Manage multiple order books 
• Disseminate information to the sales force in a clear and concise way
• Add clients to and manage client database and order system
• Monitor credit trading levels and news
• Assist with research and data projects 
• Develop credit analytical skills

Qualifications

• College degree in related area of study (finance, economics) preferred
• Series 57 required
• Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred
• Expertise using Microsoft Office/Excel, Bloomberg knowledge preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly via email and over the phone required
• Strong communication and organizational skills, extremely detail oriented
• Prior Hybrid/Preferred experience preferred
