Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Potential exciting opportunity for a civilian LPN/LVN at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Gastroenterology and Endocrinology) in Portsmouth, Virginia

 

Position Details:

• Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday | 0700-1800 (closed on All Federal Holidays)

Position Requirements:

• Graduate of a  United States State Board of Nursing approved LPN/LVN training program OR be a graduate of an accredited LPN program by ACEN, OR have completed an equivalent military training program. Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

• Possess a minimum experience of six (6) months within the last two (2) years as an LPN caring for patients with diabetes mellitus

• Possess a minimum experience of one (1) year within the last two (2) years as an LPN working in a gastroenterology/endoscopy or medical surgery practice

• Possess a minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN working in an outpatient acute care (hospital based) or ambulatory care setting within the last two years.

• An unrestricted, active LPN/LVN License from any of the 50 United States

• Basic Life Support Certification American Heart Association/American Red Cross, CPR/AED
