THE JOB
As a Lead Fountain Worker, your role is key for maintaining the Starbucks outlet and leading your team on a daily. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and exceptional service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us!
THE STARTING PAY RATE $21.00/hr
THE DAY TO DAY
Lead, coach, and train a team of 3-12 employees during shifts.
Demonstrate proficiency in selling techniques and delivering service for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as menu items.
Address guest complaints within your authority; escalate to management if necessary and report any unusual events, missing items, or theft.
Efficiently take orders, serve food and drinks, and garnish them accurately.
Pack orders according to guests' preferences and include necessary condiments.
Execute opening and closing duties as per shift assignment.
Unload warehouse orders, organize stock in designated storage areas, and replenish supplies and machines as needed.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of front and back-of-house areas, including table clearing, counter cleaning, and sweeping, ensuring guest comfort.
Establish and maintain par levels for daily orders and complete daily order sheets.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
An enthusiastic individual to join our diverse and unified team, working collaboratively to meticulously manage and execute tasks
Prior barista and/or fountain worker experience is a plus
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Proficiency in basic computer applications
Ability to lead a team with minimal supervision
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Nevada Food Handler’s Safety Card
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
