About the role
<p>You will play a pivotal role to ensure Nokia competitive market rates for both global and local transportation, local warehousing and additional logistics services (e.g. multi-model) within one or more geographical areas and scope. <br/>You will be at the forefront working with the global and local stakeholders and will be supported by a global cross-functional category team in tenders and negotiations with local and global logistics service providers. <br/>If you are a passionate and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of logistics and procurement, this is your chance to make a difference.</p>
<ul><li>End-to-end responsibility on tendering process (RfQ, RfI) for global and local logistics services (warehousing, transportation, customs clearance) based on business requirements and Nokia Sourcing Policies and Strategy.</li><li>Responsible for rate negotiations with local and global logistics service providers.</li><li>Responsible on rate management, analysis of offers and market data.</li><li>Contract negotiation and contract lifecycle management using Nokia tools based on the Sourcing Strategy.</li><li>Proactively maintain and develop cooperative relationships with Stakeholders and Business Partners.</li><li>Development and implementation of the Category strategy.</li><li>Support the development of global sourcing processes and tools.</li><li>Monitors Logistics Service Providers' performance & compliance and creates development plans whenever appropriate.</li><li>Working closely with the full procurement team in supplier selection to ensure a balanced portfolio with best-in-class cost and quality performance.<br/><br/> </li></ul>
<ul><li>Expert in contract management and negotiation, strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing and networking skills.</li><li>You show business acumen, are able to simplify complexity and are familiar with decision making and leading through ambiguous situations.</li><li>You enjoy multitasking, cross-functional and cross-cultural teamwork and know to leverage it for mutual success. While you are pragmatic, curious and can manage and drive change, you are also able to ensure compliance and act as a gatekeeper ensuring the Nokia standards needed for a sustainable supply chain.</li><li>You have the mindset for continuous improvement and you never settle for the status quo but are curiously seeking new improvement possibilities.</li><li>You are able to work under time pressure against agreed goals in the daily reality.</li><li>Minimum a basic understanding of transportation and warehousing managed within the category is a must.</li><li>Understanding of current used procurement tools is an asset.</li><li>Language: English.</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI is an asset.<strong> </strong></li></ul><p>Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably BsC/MsC in economics, logistics or international trade management.</p><p><br/><br/> </p>
