What?

We are seeking hands-on Senior Member of Technical Staff Engineers that share our passion and excitement of operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will have part in the disruption of the health care industry and will help deliver better patient care.

As a Software engineer in our team, you’ll be responsible and lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and our end users. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a tech lead you will own the complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and work on an exciting greenfield project designed to operate at massive scale. This is a unique opportunity to build cutting-edge systems from the ground up, using modern Java frameworks and cloud-native technologies, with a focus on high throughput, fault tolerance, and seamless failover.

 

Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology experience, Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen and eligible for federal security clearance. 
  • More than 4+ years of experience in developing and operating APIs
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing excellent code in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing APIs that scale efficiently and securely.
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in cloud technologies, including OCI, AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
  • Utilizes telemetry in software engineering to inform and make data-driven decisions
  • A solid grasp of fundamental system design principles and best practices in distributed systems architecture

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
