The Role at a Glance

This Senior Analyst Quantitative Investment Analysis will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. They will develop and advance investment data pipelines, quantitative modeling frameworks, and analytical tools that directly inform strategic asset allocation (SAA), capital efficiency, and analytics across the U.S. and Bermuda portfolios. They will guide complex modeling and data decisions, and ensure alignment with regulatory, capital, and enterprise risk requirements.

What you'll be doing

•Directs the design, architecture, and governance of Python and SQL based data pipelines, ensuring robust data ingestion, cleansing, controls, and data availability to ensure the data need for investment decisions is accurate, organized, and ready to use.
•Leads the build out of cloud based analytic services (AWS, GitLab CI/CD), establishing coding standards, documentation expectations, testing frameworks, and monitoring requirements.
•Provides subject matter expertise in maturing prototype analyses into production grade, scalable analytical platforms supporting strategic asset allocation (SAA).
•Develops and enhances optimization, scenario analysis, and stress testing tools used to evaluate SAA under capital, rating liquidity, and ALM constraints.
•Parameterizes models and tools under U.S. RBC and Bermuda BSCR frameworks.
•Directs integration of cash flow projections (e.g., BondEdge) and reconciles them to portfolio views with auditable data controls.
•Implements validation controls to ensure accurate regulatory classification of securities across NAIC and Bermuda categories.
•Influences decision making by providing clear, data driven insights related to investment risk, capital impacts, and regulatory considerations
•Serves a technical resource to insurance business units, ALM, Actuarial, Enterprise Risk Management, and Finance.

What we’re looking for

•5 – 7+ Years in data engineering, analytics, or quantitative work in investments, insurance, or risk domains directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role. (Required)
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
•3+ years of python coding experience 
•Analytical skills and close attention to detail is necessary
•Effective verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment

The pay range for this position is $96,900 - $176,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
