About the role
Overview
This position is accountable to work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department in order to provide quality, safe patient care fin a designated setting. Maintains workflow, including inventory and medication distribution.--------------------------------------------------Operates Pharmacy systems technology and automation.--------------------------------------------------Prepares, distributes and disposes of medications in compliance with current standards of practice under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.--------------------------------------------------Qualifications
EDUCATION:REQUIRED:High School Diploma or equivalentPREFERRED:Pharmacy technician diploma or enrolled in a pharmacy technician program EXPERIENCE:REQUIRED:Pharmacy technician experiencePREFERRED:Hospital pharmacy technician experience LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED:Registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire PREFERRED:Apply for this role
