Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points by checking badges, credentials, manifests, and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
• Respond to incidents, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or unusual activity in required logs and reports, following site-specific post orders and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
