Purpose

• The Senior Group Manager, Genesis Regional Operations position has been created to provide exclusive focus and responsibility for all sales, service and distribution activities within each of the Genesis regions. This position reports to the Genesis General Manager and is supported by staff managers and a field team. Core responsibilities include sales, service, customer satisfaction, training, and overall retailer performance.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead the field operations team for assigned region in Sales, Service, and Distribution.
• Meet and exceed all Genesis Business Plan Key Performance Indicators including New Vehicle Sales, Allocation, Customer Experience, Market Share, CPO Sales, Employee Engagement and other critical measurables.
• Present on Genesis regional operations and results at governance meetings.
• Oversee regional distribution related activities such as executing Genesis vehicle wholesale tasks.
• Provide sales analytics and analysis to drive sales and share results with Gensis leadership.
• Assist with regional implementation of marketing and branding activities such as auto shows, executive visits, retailer meetings, owners’ events, drive events and sports/marketing events.
• Build and foster strong relationships with Retail Network and other GMA Regions.
• Support Dealer Network Development actions and strategy in partnership with NHQ and Regional DND teams.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

• Develop and maintain an annual budget, including forecasting and management of regional operations spend.
• Ensure Field Team adheres to all corporate guidelines and policies.
• Ad hoc assignments to support overall Genesis KPIs and brand objectives.

Authority

• Regional oversight for the Genesis Brand within the defined region.
• Oversight of regional field operations team.
• Requires a high level of strategic thought and business savvy to impact luxury vehicle performance within the region.
• Responsible for hiring decisions, onboarding, performance management, performance evaluations for current and future direct reports.
• Approve expense reports in compliance with all polices and guidelines for direct reports.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred~ Must be a high school graduate~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

• Ten or more years of experience with at least four years of directly related wholesale experience in the automotive industry.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Luxury wholesale and/or retail experience is a plus.

Skills/Knowledge

• Must completely understand the luxury vehicle experience and the need for a differentiated sales and service experience at the retailer level.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have highly effective verbal and written skills and the ability to make dealer and regional presentations.
