Job Purpose
The CNS Sales Specialist is responsible for the promotion, sales and continuous support of Kyowa Kirin, Inc. products while achieving all territory sales goals in a compliant manner:
***This territory will cover: San Francisco, CA, Santa Rosa CA , San Jose CA , Monterey CA
Key Responsibilities:- Appropriately address customer needs and deliver on sales targets.
- Call points for this position will be neurologists specializing in movement disorders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, medical staff and health care professionals in offices, hospitals and clinics to promote and support Company products
- Provide approved messaging and product information to key decision makers and stakeholders within the CNS setting
- Demonstrates effective territory management and selling competencies
- Demonstrate value of our products
- Maintain high knowledge levels of product, competitor and market information
- High level of understanding of integrated health systems, Payer access and Hub/SP.
- Develop ongoing business plans for the territory
- Complete timely and accurate administrative tasks including call reporting, expense reporting, compliance submissions
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and follows Kyowa Kirin, Inc.’s guidelines
- Represent Kyowa Kirin, Inc. in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three years prior successful specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
- Documented successful experience selling in an integrated health system environment
- Demonstrated clinical selling skills and business acumen in complex selling environment
- History of building and influencing customer relationships and goal achievement
- Demonstrated ability to sell in a complex reimbursement (Managed Care) environment
- Proven track record of consistent, high performance in role
- Must live in the geography
Physical Requirements:
- Travel required and may include overnights within assigned territory
- Must possess a valid driver’s license that is in good standing with the State in which it was issued
