Team Leader (Mobile)

Would you like to be a part of a team that is responsible for millions of dollars of user payments? Join our Mobile Team at DAZN as we’re growing!  Your team In this role you will manage a mobile development team containing 6 to 7 multitasking and supportive, best-in-class developers. The team is focused on developing new features that will enhance the mobile application and provide value to its users. You will also help them shape the features they work on and represent them during many stages of our software development lifecycle. The team's maturity indicates that they have a profound understanding of the mobile development process and are experienced in working with different stakeholders, such as product managers, designers, quality assurance testers, and other developers. You will be supported by a leadership team comprised of other Engineering Managers and Product Managers who work together to ensure everything is running as smoothly as it can.  This role is based in Katowice. We prefer a hybrid model, from office and from home. 

As our new Team Leader, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Lead a mobile team of 6-7engineers 
• Coordinate with various technical stakeholders that span across the systems breadth and depth 
• Optimise the development process and delivery to achieve the best outcome for the business 
• Support and grow your teams’ skills beyond their current remit 
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager to support modern software development practices and advance a great engineering culture 
• Contribute to the technical strategy in this area and collaborate with key stakeholders to influence the product outcome. 
• Code or test hands-on with your team (if you want) 

You’ll be set up for success if:

• Strong technical background with hands-on experience as a mobile software engineer from Android or iOS, with knowledge of Kotlin or Swift 
• Experience in managing a team in an Agile environment or interest in becoming one 
• Excellent communication skills, you’re good at listening, giving and receiving feedback 
• The ability to work autonomously or collaboratively (as needs require) in a larger program of work 
• Proven experience in collaborating with stakeholders and clarifying technical requirements
