The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Tax to join our dynamic finance team and report to the Chief Accounting Officer. The Head of Tax will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of domestic and international tax planning and compliance for the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements with the willingness to roll-up their sleeves and execute. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of implementing effective tax strategies to optimize tax efficiencies while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. It is essential that this individual has strong communication and leadership skills, a well-rounded tax background, and a desire to problem solve in a non-routine dynamic environment.

The Opportunity:

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and review of federal, state, and international tax returns
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on the potential impact to the company
• Coordinate and oversee tax audits and examinations by tax authorities, including preparing responses and supporting documentation
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax implications related to business decisions, transactions, and investments
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax considerations are appropriately addressed in business initiatives
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and consultants
• Prepare and present tax reports and presentations to senior management 
• Develop, implement, and maintain global tax policies, procedures, and internal controls
