 Job Summary:
 

The Maintenance Training Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of activities in the various maintenance department in support of maintenance training. Position will assist in providing a safe workplace for employees and contractors by auditing and coaching to Arconic safety standards, tracking and ensuring all departmental & EHS training completed in a timely manner, assessing risk and including correct resources to identify countermeasures, monitoring processes and updating/reporting on metrics.

This position reports to a maintenance manager. 

In this role, you will:
  • Promote and practice Arconic Business System concepts and philosophies.
  • Maintaining/updating training records for assigned areas
  • Planning internal/external trainings for employees
  • Maintaining Plantwide Training Matrix for Maintenance employees
  • SPA for maintenance training steering team
  • Scheduling trainings and coordinating attendees plantwide
  • Review and Edit Grade Progression Packets with Maintenance Training Team
  • Assist maintenance planners with plan, organize, coordinate, and scheduling maintenance tasks, plant projects, or project assignments 
  • Other Duties as assigned 
  You have: (required) 
  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution

  • 1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 

  • 3 years of maintenance experience

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • An Associates Degree in a relevant technical trade
  • Operational knowledge regarding process, equipment capability, practices, systems.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments concurrently and be results oriented.

  • Demonstrates good computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and ability to learn new programs

  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.

  • Able to work flexible hours as required
