JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Student Engagement Coordinator promotes students' personal growth by assisting them with high-quality out-of-class experiences through student activities, leadership development, community service, multicultural/diversity programs, trips, and special programs.

• Provide guidance and support to student clubs and organizations
• Develop, implement, plan, and assess programs for students
• Manage and coordinate all events and applicable contracts
• Responsible for managing, developing, and disseminating internal communications about activities
• Provide support for service opportunities and partnerships that are collaborations with campus departments and units
• Collaborate with marketing team to create and develop the promotion and advertising of events on campus
• Coordinate event planning to ensure room reservations, setup details, and campus policy regarding vendors is complete
• May supervise student staff members

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US 
driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required 
in addition to standard background checks.
