Senior Associate, Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week 

 

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our Technology QA team. This role requires experience and knowledge in how to develop test strategy, test cases, develop automation framework for both web and mobile applications and focus on testing Generative AI testing solutions.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop test strategy, test plans,  test suites for web and mobile applications.
• Support and perform manual testing,  identify & document defects as early in the development life cycle as possible.
• Develop and execute test cases for testing functionality, accuracy, and performance of AI-driven applications.
• Analyze test results  to identify areas of improvement.
• Identify, analyze, and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.  
• Design and develop automation framework and test scripts to validate the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of software.
• Maintain testing frameworks and ensure software reliability and performance.
• Perform functional, regression integration and performance tests to ensure product stability.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in QA, automation tools, and testing methodologies.

What You’ll Bring:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software testing or Quality Assurance, with a focus on AI-driven applications.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with automating mobile applications and Web applications
• Proficiency in TestNG, Selenium and Jenkins and TDD frameworks is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with development, QA and product owner teams.
• Excellent organization and documentation skills, analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Self-motivated and adaptable individual with the ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in generative AI, ensuring your testing methods remain relevant and effective.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with JIRA, Postman and PractiTest applications
• Experience with cloud-based environments (e.g, AWS, Cloud, Azure) and AI platforms.
• Experience leading automation projects.
• Experience with Mabl tool and Saucelabs a plus
• Experience in programming/scripting languages(e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript).

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:  $102,500-$175,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
