What you might work on:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior level QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for leading quality assurance practices within our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in manual and automated testing, a strong ability to collaborate across teams, and a passion for mentoring others to elevate the overall quality mindset of our engineering team. You will partner with stakeholders across technology and various departments to perform the following:

• Design, execute, and manage comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, with a preference for Robot Framework.
• Perform manual testing as necessary
• Support business stakeholders with test planning and execution of User Acceptance testing (UAT)
• Act as a key liaison between engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure quality at all stages of development.
• Provide guidance and training to engineers to embed QA practices into their workflows.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the team.
• Evaluate and improve non-production environments to enhance testing quality and reliability.
• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline testing efforts and improve delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with others through roadmap and sprint planning for estimation and prioritization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or comparable work experience)

• 5+ years of hands-on automated software testing experience
• 4+ years programming language like Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and tools
• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Robot Framework
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into them
