This position is eligible for full-time remote work in Texas, or North Carolina, or, in the alternative, to work in accordance with Dimensional’s office- first hybrid approach which involves working in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the choice to work in the office or remotely, depending on what is best for your work day, on Mondays and Fridays.

What you might work on:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior level QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for leading quality assurance practices within our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in manual and automated testing, a strong ability to collaborate across teams, and a passion for mentoring others to elevate the overall quality mindset of our engineering team. You will partner with stakeholders across technology and various departments to perform the following:
- Design, execute, and manage comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, with a preference for Robot Framework.
- Perform manual testing as necessary
- Support business stakeholders with test planning and execution of User Acceptance testing (UAT)
- Act as a key liaison between engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure quality at all stages of development.
- Provide guidance and training to engineers to embed QA practices into their workflows.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the team.
- Evaluate and improve non-production environments to enhance testing quality and reliability.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline testing efforts and improve delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with others through roadmap and sprint planning for estimation and prioritization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or comparable work experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on automated software testing experience
- 4+ years programming language like Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and tools
- Strong experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Robot Framework
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into them
