Parts Room Attendant 2 (Shipping & Receiving)

Job Details:

SUMMARY:

• This position is responsible for:

  • Shipping and receiving
  • JPR shelf
  • Metal cage
  • Issuing stock

• Position includes but is not limited to:

  • Receiving inventory
  • Issuing parts
  • Assisting with cycle counting inventory
  • Data entry
  • Putting away incoming stock
  • Issuing tools, electrical gloves, radios, etc.
  • Housekeeping

• Heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds) and daily use of a forklift for heavier stock required.

• Some flexibility in hours and days is required to cover for vacations or days/time off for other Storeroom Clerks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education:

  • High School Diploma

• Computer Skills:

  • Standard computer skills
  • Ability to learn the SAP computer system

• Communication Skills:

  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills.

This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility; therefore, they will be considered for the opening first.  If none of those local Team Members are selected, then Team Members from other locations will be given consideration.
